Well it's just over three months since we opened our doors, and we're delighted to report that Creedons Doggie Daycare is proving to be a great success for the dogs of Cork! Dogs are going home from daycare EXHAUSTED after playing with all their new doggie friends, and we are getting reports back that these same doggies are now much more confident on their walks out in the local parks and now greet new dogs with a wagging tail... just what we want to hear!!!! Our grooming parlour 's on the go the whole time, we take weekend and week day bookings, and we work on your dog at a pace YOUR dog is happy with, which in turn means the grooming experience becomes much more pleasant for your pooch!! Our at home boarding option is even more popular than we expected and we have been fully booked up quite a bit this summer. For those unsure of what exactly it is, i'll explain. Dogs that don't enjoy the kenneling experience can put their owners in a bit of a predicament come holiday time. Do you ask your family members AGAIN, or do you search for an alternative that your dog is happy with?
What we do is offer an alternative. The first step is to book your dog in for the doggie daycare assessment week. As dogs are always off leash and mixing together at daycare (and hence while boarding) it is vital that we ensure that any dog joining the group is social and happy to mix with their new friends. During the assessment week your dog will also become familiar with the daycare environment and will learn that at the end of each day you will collect them. This is a vital part of the assessment as it means that while you are away, your dog will expect to see you any minute and hence won't experience separation anxiety.
Once your dog has passed the assessment week we can then take bookings for boarding. With the boarding option, your dog will be brought to daycare each day, and then home with one of our staff to sleep in their house in whichever room it sleeps in at your house. The aim is to keep everything familiar to your dog and keep them happy!!! MORE INFORMATION HERE
Our shop is fully stocked with a variety of goodies, both silly and sensible! We have doggie dressing gowns, dicky bows, and football jerseys, great for bringing your pooch trick or treating this Halloween! We have a wide selection of leads, collars, and toys. We also have great training aids, for toilet training, teaching your dog to stop jumping, and mental stimulation games.

Now for the important stuff! Its time for us to announce our winter training schedule !!!! With the nights closing in, and the temperatures dropping, those long evening strolls with your dog are quickly turning into power walks around the block! Our training classes are an ideal way to have fun and tire your dog, both physically and mentally! And the best part, our classes are held in our indoor heated centre!!!
Good Dog Obedience Course
We are continuing to run our Good Dog Obedience Course on Thursday evenings. Classes start at 7pm and 8.15pm, so if you would like to partake, pop us an email and let us know what time you would prefer.
The Good Dog Obedience Course is a great foundation course that we believe every single dog owner should complete. You will learn all about owning a dog, and we will teach you how to teach your dog using only positive reinforcement methods.
Sundays is no longer a day of rest here at Creedons Doggie Daycare!!! It's TRAINING DAY!!!! Don't worry, we won't get you up too early, classes start at 2pm.
Trick and Treat Foundation Agility
Fun fun fun fun fun!
Our agility classes here at Creedon's Doggie Daycare are the ideal way to have fun with your dog while exercising them moth mentally and physically.We have brand new equipment, including a variety of jumps (high jumps, long jumps, hoop jumps) tunnels (rigid tunnels, collapsible tunnels), weaves, see saws, A-frames and more!
Our arena has 3000sq ft of padded rubber flooring, great for protecting dogs joints while they let their 'adventure-dog' side out!
Our trainer Ilse has years of agility instructing experience, and is a positive reinforcement trainer, ensuring both you and your dog have a fantastic time!
Please note that you must have good control of your dog to attend these classes, as dogs will be off leash. If you are unsure of how well your dog will behave we suggest you attend one of our obedience courses first.
Great Dog Obedience Class
This course is the follow on from our Good Dog Obedience Course, and is advanced obedience for those that have either completed out beginners course, or feel that their dog knows the basics and you would rather teach your dog some more complex commands.
You will learn to teach your dogs tricks using more complex training methods such as shaping and chaining (all will be explained)
Stop Pulling Now
Finally, a four week course that will stop your dog pulling for life!!!! We will teach you how to teach your dog to stop pulling, making your life so much easier!!! Walks will become a fun experience that both you and your dog can now enjoy!

As you all know by now, Creedons Doggie Daycare opened its doors for daycare, grooming, and boarding last Monday and we are delighted to report that our first week was a great success!
We had lots of doggies at daycare going home exhausted after playing all day with their new friends.

Ilse worked as a dog assessor for an assistance dog charity for 5 years, has taught classes for CoCo Dog Club for nearly 4 years and is now running dog training classes in Limerick and other locations.
Play and Learn - Puppy Socialisation Classes
The emphasis of this four week course will be on socialisation, basic obedience training and day-to-day health care, so you can teach your puppy to be a confident, well-adjusted dog who will be a joy to live with. We do this by lots of supervised free play interspersed by mini-training sessions. Fun for dogs and owners is the main aim.

Good Dog - Basic Obedience Classes
This course is aimed at pet dog owners who want to improve their dog's obedience in everyday situations. We work on basic, practical obedience and add distractions to make sure that the dog will also work well outside the class. We only use positive, effective, reward-based methods which are guaranteed to strengthen the bond between the owner and the dog, making the classes fun for all.

Trick 'n' Treat - Agility 1 Class
Agility 1 will be a 'just jumps' course meaning we teach high jump, long jump, tunnel, tyre, table and weave. We will also cover obedience commands to make sure all doggies are at the same level. It is recommended that you take part in the Good Dog course before enrolling in agility if you are unsure about your dogs level of obedience. Graduates of Agility 1 will then be able to take part in Agility 2 (see-saw, A-frame, dog-walk etc).
