As you all know by now, Creedons Doggie Daycare opened its doors for daycare, grooming, and boarding last Monday and we are delighted to report that our first week was a great success!
We had lots of doggies at daycare going home exhausted after playing all day with their new friends.

Creedons Doggie Daycare is delighted to announce our training academy schedule! In partnership with Ilse Sas of Dogs For Life Dog Training and Boarding.
Ilse worked as a dog assessor for an assistance dog charity for 5 years, has taught classes for CoCo Dog Club for nearly 4 years and is now running dog training classes in Limerick and other locations.
Play and Learn - Puppy Socialisation Classes
The emphasis of this four week course will be on socialisation, basic obedience training and day-to-day health care, so you can teach your puppy to be a confident, well-adjusted dog who will be a joy to live with. We do this by lots of supervised free play interspersed by mini-training sessions. Fun for dogs and owners is the main aim.

Good Dog - Basic Obedience Classes
This course is aimed at pet dog owners who want to improve their dog's obedience in everyday situations. We work on basic, practical obedience and add distractions to make sure that the dog will also work well outside the class. We only use positive, effective, reward-based methods which are guaranteed to strengthen the bond between the owner and the dog, making the classes fun for all.

Trick 'n' Treat - Agility 1 Class
Agility 1 will be a 'just jumps' course meaning we teach high jump, long jump, tunnel, tyre, table and weave. We will also cover obedience commands to make sure all doggies are at the same level. It is recommended that you take part in the Good Dog course before enrolling in agility if you are unsure about your dogs level of obedience. Graduates of Agility 1 will then be able to take part in Agility 2 (see-saw, A-frame, dog-walk etc).

Creedons Doggie Daycare is Munster's first dog daycare centre!!
It is the joint venture of RTE's John Creedon, and daughter Nanci Creedon. Nanci has an honours Zoology degree, diplomas in canine psychology, canine studies, and qualifications in animal grooming, dog daycare studies, canine first aid, and canine training. Nanci established a successful dog walking and pet sitting service in early 2008, and has been looking after Cork dogs ever since!
Doggie daycare! It's basically an adventure centre for dogs! Drop 'em in on the way to work, collect them on your way home and there you have it! A happy, exercised, socialised doggie to chill out with when you get home. No need to head out in the lashing rain with your hyperactive pooch (unless you WANT to!), no more coming home to chewed wires, destroyed bedding, or the dreaded doggie poo!
We have all your doggie needs here (that's why our logo says "All your doggie needs under one WOOF!" Get it? Woof? Roof? Well we thought it was funny!!).
There's our dog grooming salon, where our aim is to keep the waiting lists low and the standard high! We offer half price daycare when your dog is getting groomed, so you can drop your dog off on the way to work, and collect then clean and sleepy in the evening!
We offer a totally new boarding experience to the doggies of Cork. We know that a lot of dog love kennels, and we know that a lot of dogs hate kennels! That's why here at Creedons Doggie Daycare when you're away, your doggie plays! We will take your dog into our home and treat them like family. Each day they will come to daycare to play with their friends, and then home with us in the evening for lots of cuddles and maybe some telly if they're good! Our aim is to make sure your doggie is having as much fun as possible, so we do ask that your dog take parts in our one week ‘intro to daycare' to make sure they are happy and stress free with us!
We have our very own pet shop. Well, it's more like a dog shop, no cat food here! We sell a variety of doggie goods, from home made treats, to doggie life jackets, and everything in between.
We will have a variety of training classes, from puppy training to advanced agility! Schedules will follow, but do let us know what classes you would be most interested in.

To enrol in daycare, we simply set up an introductory meeting to find out all about your doggie, and show you both around. We do a brief assessment, and then schedule your dog in for its week long evaluation. This is to give your dog a chance to settle into the daycare environment, and gives us both a chance to make sure your dog likes it here!

Not long now until Creedons Doggie Daycare is open!
At the moment we are getting everything in place to make sure that we are completely ready for your doggies when the doors open. We are getting our grooming equipment delivered from Northern Ireland, 3000m2 of special rubber flooring delivered from the UK, and we are ordering shop stock from all over the world to give you the best of the best!!
The enrolment process to the doggie daycare is as follows. We make an appointment to come in to the daycare while it is closed to fill in forms and let your dog get a feel for the place without the distraction of playful doggies. At this time we will do a brief assessment of your little bud. We will see how well it obeys commands, how it reacts to handling, and how it interacts with Creedons Doggie Daycare’s resident doggie, Bella.
We will then schedule five daycare visits over a maximum of two weeks. We need these visits to be as close as possible to give your doggie a chance to adjust to the environment so that they will let their natural personality out. Over these five visits our staff will monitor your dog carefully. We will watch to see how they play with the other dogs, how well they share, how they interact with their carers, and we will get to know the dog to make sure that they enjoy daycare.
At the end of the five visits we will all sit down again to let you know how your doggie got on and any tips on training your dog may need at home.

As you can see on our boarding alternative page, we offer a unique boarding experience, where doggies play all day at daycare, then spend the night at my home cuddling on the sofa. We can only accommodate a max of four dogs at a time, so book early to avoid disappointment.
